Want to see a $50 bead?

I was standing in Party City looking at invitations to get ready for the girls birthday party. I got a call from AJ. It was 4:05. He told me I needed to come on and pick him up from work (he gets off at 5 and I wander the stores before I go get him). Daycare called and Maddie had stuck a bead up her nose. They couldn't get it out. They were going to take Maddie to the ER and we would meet them there. It is an hour drive from work to home. AJ was going to drop me off and then go back and get Sophie. Well daycare called and said that Sophie went with Maddie because Maddie was crying for her. We got there and walked in and saw two happy girls. Maddie was very nonchalant about the whole thing. We signed in, they took her vitals (she is 39.5lbs) and I paid my $50 copay. It took all of 2 seconds to get the bead out. It took longer for them to finish the paperwork. Hopefully she has learned her lesson and won't try that again. I have always said that she was going to be the one at the hospital the most. This was her second visit. The first was 2 days after her birthday last September when she got bit by the spider.
