It was a great day

We had a great day today. I went to the girl's school and helped them hand out their envelopes, crackers, fortune cookies, chopsticks and fried rice. We talked a little about China and then showed the Chinese New Year Ni Hao Kai Lan. It was awesome watching the other kids enjoy the show. They would repeat everything and it was just cool. We then came home and made some lanterns, or jack-o-lanterns as the girls called them and hung them up. We then talked daddy into going out for Chinese food tonight. It was a great day. I hope everyone else had a good one as well.

Happy Year of the Ox

It is now the year of the ox. I hope everyone has a good one. We have been busy with all sorts of Chinese New Year festivities. I'm going to the girls school to make a presentation. I've got their envelopes done, stuff to make lanterns and rice will be made in the morning. The girls are excited. They love talking about China.

Ducks

Check out my ducks. Don't you love them. They were all so cute. Maddie and Sophie were so excited and can't wait until next week when they do it again. (okay I don't know if you can see it in the video, but the ox looks like Joe the Camel)

Oh and can I just tell you how much I love Shout right now. Maddie had a bloody nose and got it on her sleeve along with lipstick. I came home right away and squirted Shout on it, washed it and it came out. I was so relieved.

Check out my Lenox house I got at Michael's today. It was normally 39.99 and I got it for 3.99. Cool.

Also, please help Bethany and Elijah come home. Check out the link. You can also contribute to win a Garmin. How cool is that? Please go check out these two cuties.

Maddie gave Sophie a massage

Sorry about the picture quality. I really need to change the settings on my camera and I really need to learn more about taking pictures with it.

Preview

Here's a little preview. Aren't they the cutest little ducks? The leotards will be dyed yellow and we should have them next Friday (since they have to perform Saturday). I think they are too sweet. I took the picture with my Blackberry so it's not the best picture.

Also to answer Chelley's questions. I work for an airline and I schedule the pilot's training to keep them legal. The girls noticed the boy parts right away. They are way to observant. They thought it was funny and just giggled and giggled.
