Yesterday Maddie and I went to the market of Walls. We got our things and then went back to go pick out fish. Yes I am a sucker and we are now the proud owners of 3 tiger barbs and 2 snails. We did have 4 tiger barbs, but I killed one as soon as he went into the little aquarium I bought. Anyway, that's not the story. So Maddie and I were standing there looking at the aquarium's and some girl started talking about how beautiful Maddie was. She then came over and bent down and started talking to her like she was a 2 year old. Asking if she was part Asian or what. I explained that she was from China and then got the standard "does she speak it" and told her no. Maddie then starts chiming in about remembering stuff. It was just a little awkward and the first time that anything that weird had happened. Normally they just say the girls are cute and move on, but yesterday we were a freak show.
