Grace - you missed out

We had a great day today. We left the house at about 8am and got to Lenox Mall around 8:45. No traffic or anything. We found a primo parking spot right in front of Macy's. We had to kill some time because the Pink Pig didn't open until 10. That was hard. We actually got out of the ticket line once because Maddie was being so ugly. We got back in and got in front of a lady who was very nice. She heard Sophie talking my ear off and looked at me and said I had one talker and one quiet one. Well it actually is mixed, but yes Sophie is the talker. They loved the pink pig. Maddie's smile was priceless.
Next it was on to Phipps. We got over there at at 10:45 and found another primo parking spot in the parking garage right next to the escalator. We went and had lunch and then I noticed the girls shirts were dirty. We went to Belk's and I got their new shirts for 50% off (Maddie's was $10 and Sophie's was $8). I also found their Easter dresses for $5 each. Then it was on to Santa. Our appointment was at 12:15, but we got there at 11:45 and they let us in early.
We waited a few minutes and then it was their turn. Sophie walked up, sat on his lap and the first sentence out of her mouth was "say ho ho ho". Too funny. She had everyone in stitches. Santa was so sweet. He gave them big hugs and it was so great for them to spend a little time with him and not have to get off right away. I think we will do that next year. The only bad part is that the pictures get mailed to the house and won't be mailed until Saturday.
We left the mall at about 12:15 and came home. We had to stop at the grocery store, but then came straight home. We made it here by 2pm. All in all it was a good day.
