14 Years

Today was my 14 year anniversary at my job. I still can't believe that I have been there for 14 years. It seems like it was yesterday and it also seems like it was so long ago. Sometimes I get really tired of being there and then sometimes I miss it. I really didn't want to go back when after I came home with Sophie, but I'm glad I did. I would miss all of my friends and the adult company. I have made some really good friends and would be lost without them. I just want to thank a few people here.

• My dad - He saw the ad in the the paper and suggested I send in a resume. I did and was very nervous when I interviewed, but very thankful that I got the job.
• My mom - For watching Brandon all of those times that I had to work late.
• Terry M. - Thanks for being my "playmate". I don't think I would have made it this long without you.
• John S., Jeff S. and Chip G. - For believing that I could do job. Also for giving me the freedom to do it.
• Chuck H. - For being my "playmate" now. It is a very boring day when you are not there.
• There are many, many, many more of you that I should thank like Dick U., Dave S. and so many more of you. I love you all.

The place that I work is full of ups and downs. It gets so frustrating sometimes. I hate hearing the people that I have to schedule whine about only having 12 days off in a month and their pay. I wish one day they could stand in my shoes. Also, I am only one person in charge of the scheduling of over 1600 people. I can only do so much.

The majority of the people are great. I have met so many people who are in the process of adopting from China now and who have adopted from other countries. It's a great place to work and I hope to be around there for 14 more years :).
