Hard week

Sorry for the lack of postings this week. It has been a very hard week. First, thank you to everyone who voted for the girls. They did not win, but it was fun to have them in the contest.

It's been a hard week. It started last Friday. My mam maw went to the hospital because she was sick. We thought she would be okay, but she kept getting worse. On Monday she went to hospice care and on Tuesday she died. I loved my mam maw so much. She and I shared a birthday. She basically helped raise me and my brother. She loved Brandon and the girls so much. They had so much fun going over to her house. I can't believe she's gone. I knew this day would come, but it's still hard. I know that she's in heaven right now having a big party with my grand daddy and her brothers and sisters. Maddie says that our dog Travis is there with her to. I even think that our dog Willie (who didn't really let anybody but pet him, but mam maw did) was happy to see her as well. She hardly looked at the camera when you took her picture. I have no pictures of her and Sophie and barely any of her and Maddie. I have some of her and Brandon when he was a baby, but that's it. So sad. Take those pictures even if they don't want you to.

Also on Tuesday Sophie had her 6th month ortho follow up. The doctor was able to get an x-ray of her neck. She has some neck vertebra that are fused together. I am still waiting for the doctor to get back with me to schedule the MRI for the full body x-ray. I asked about surgery for scoliosis and he said we are just going to watch her grow for right now.

That's really all that's been going on this week, but as you can see it's been a rough one.
