Surgery Went Well

Maddie's surgery went well. It took 35 minutes and she did great. The doctor said that we made the right decision taking her adenoids out. He said she had a lot of fluid built up. He said we should notice a difference within a couple of days or so. We are so excited for her. Bless her little heart, she has been on antibiotics since she came home in 11/04. We have been to the doctor more times than she really needs to go. She has been on Omnicef, Amoxicillin and Cefcil. She can't take Augmentan and we found out she is allergic to sulfer. She has been to the allergist and had no allergies, so this was the right thing to do. This is her second set of tubes (after she had 6 ear infections in 5 months) so she was a pro at that. I really liked her new ENT. He was very, very nice and really interacted well with Maddie. I'm just glad it's all over for her (hopefully).
