Maddie has both. Yesterday evening I noticed a rash on the palm of her hands. It's kind of hard to see in the pictures, but they are there. I was going to take her to Children's Healthcare, but got talked out of it because she wasn't running a fever or anything. Well this morning she got up and was complaining that her throat was hurting her. I looked in her mouth and she had red blisters on the top. Well after sitting for 2 hours at Children's Healthcare on Mt. Zion, it was determined that Maddie has strep throat and hand, foot and mouth disease. The strep is treated with antibiotics and the other is viral and is treated with nothing. Needless to say her mouth hurts and she is very fussy. Oh well, at least she will feel better soon.
