Updates

Here's an update on the kiddos oldest to youngest:

Brandon - He graduated middle school and goes onto high school in July. I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday he was just starting preschool. It's also kind of sad that I have no school pictures. He didn't have any taken. He wouldn't do it. I don't know why, but he wouldn't bring the forms home. Oh well. He did good in school. He was a B average student. I'm really proud of him. He probably thinks I'm not, but I am. He will be playing football for the high school this year. I'm really excited. I love to watch him play. He did so well his last year of rec play. It was cool always hearing "Brandon made the tackle" or Brandon did this. I know that he will do really well.
Sophie - Oh my goodness she is doing so well. For the most part, she completely understands everything you tell her. She has picked up on so many words. She can sing the first line of Tim McGraw's "Last dollar". You know "one, two, three like a bird I sing". She even sounds country when she sings "sing". I'm going to try to get a video of her singing it and also Maddie because it's just to darn cute. Monday is her first ortho appointment. We will find out what he says about her spine and ribs. I am sure we will have to go for x-rays or/and MRI so I'm sure we will not find everything out. She has such a personality and you can tell she was loved in her SWI. She gives you great hugs and great kisses. She also tells you she loves you. I'm sure she's just copying what we say, but it is great to hear. Anyone who has an ie or y at the end gets changed to ia. Like Maddie gets changed to Maddia and mommy is mommia. I don't care, it sounds great. She is such a perfect fit for the family and I can't believe that we have been home for 2 weeks and she has been with me for 24 days now.
Maddie - She is becoming a good sister. It took a while for the adjustment, but that was to be expected. I didn't expect for her to immediately behave. I knew we would have problems and we still do. There are some days when I want to take her and put her back in school, but then some times she is just so sweet. She is such a Southern girl. If you didn't know her you would swear that she was born and raised here. She has such a sweet Southern accent. I love it and hope it never changes. She is 38lbs now and is such a big girl. She still won't sleep all night, but maybe eventually she will.
That's about it for now. These girls make me tired. My house is such a mess and I am trying so hard to get it organized. Maybe one of these days I will.
