Poor Maddie

This morning she woke up crying and saying her finger hurt. We looked at it and both thought it was a blood blister so she got a bandaddy (as she calls them) and a kiss and hug. Well then later on she went for her first official dentist visit. She had one when she first got home, but all the did was look in her mouth and signed a form saying her teeth looked okay. She started cyring (as you can see in the picture) when she went back. These were her remarks: tooth decay - "We are please to report that there is no dental decay present in Madeline's teeth at this time. Congratulations!" remarks - "Madeline was initially anxious at this visit but showed good maturity in rapidly adjusting to a new experience. Madeline was very cooperative and should be complimented for being so good." Yeah. It went better than I thought it would. Well then about 10 minutes or so before her daddy pulled in to the driveway I took the band-aid off of her finger. It looked like the picture you see. Obviously it was not a blood blister. We took her to the ER and they aren't sure what it was, but it is infected. She got a shot and a prescription. We have to go see her ped tomorrow. Bless her little heart!
